Elon Musk just confirmed that a 'next level' Tesla Semi truck is coming soon

With Tesla gearing up production on its highly anticipated Model 3, CEO Elon Musk just made it clear his company is more than capable of multitasking. 

Musk tweeted on Thursday the company's previously announced Tesla Semi is set to be unveiled in September 2017. What's more, he noted that the electric vehicle is going to be "seriously next level."

According to Electrek, the program to develop the heavy-duty truck is being led by Tesla’s former Model S Program Director and VP of Vehicle Engineering, Jerome Guillen. The vehicle will most likely incorporate Tesla's autopilot technology currently in the Model S and X, and could potentially revolutionize the long-haul trucking industry.  Read more...
