Snake hitches a ride on a train, because Australia is pretty much how you imagine

TwitterFacebook

It's a tired stereotype that snakes are everywhere in Australia, but they do have a knack for appearing out of nowhere.

Commuters on the 6:54 p.m. train from Kiama to Sydney got a shock when a children's python appeared in one of the carriages.

Staff were alerted to its presence, but it wasn't until the train reached Sydney's Central Station, (about an hour and half away) that the unexpected customer was taken care off.
